The purpose of this organization shall be to promote equality by raising awareness, encouraging mentor relationships, providing education and referral services, and creating a safe environment within which people may realize their potential for empowerment. We are a collective group so anyone may participate and throw out ideas!

Opening Night is tonight at 7pm! Chocolate Vaginas, shirts, buttons and Pictures with Loosey the Vagina are for sale. All proceeds go to the Riverside Rape Crisis Center.
The Vagina Monologues Performances are March 23, 24, 30, and 31 at 7pm in the Riverside City Campus Digital Libary auditorium (DL121). Tickets on sale at the door: $15 general admission; $10 students w/ID from any school.

V-Day is a global activist movement to end violence against women and girls. V-Day is a catalyst that promotes creative events to increase awareness, raise money, and revitalize the spirit of existing anti-violence organizations. V-Day generates broader attention for the fight to stop violence against women and girls, including rape, battery, incest, female genital mutilation (FGM), and sex slavery.

I'm not a feminist, but....
- Person A: I'm not a feminist, but I do I agree that we should all be equal, regardless of gender. And I think THAT is worth fighting for.
- Person B: I'm not a feminist, but I am pretty sick of getting sexually harassed on the streets. And I think THAT is worth fighting for.
- Person C: I'm not a feminist, but I do think it's shitty that my colleague gets paid less per hour than myself for no reason they, or I, can discern. And I think THAT is worth fighting for.
- Person D: I'm not a feminist, but I think that women should have control over what they do with their bodies. And I think THAT is worth fighting for.
- Person E: I'm not a feminist, but I am getting tired of seeing the same generic woman everywhere telling me I'm not matching up to the proper standard of beauty. It makes me feel bad. And I think THAT is worth fighting.
- Person F: I'm not a feminist, but I hate that my partner was raped and then blamed for it, even accused of lying to get attention. And I think THAT is worth fighting.
- Person G: I'm not a feminist. I'm more of an "equalist" :) And I think THAT is worth fighting for.
- FEMINIST PERSON: WHEN WILL YOU ALL REALISE THAT IT IS FEMINISTS WHO ARE FIGHTING FOR ALL OF THOSE THINGS YOU DEEM WORTH FIGHTING FOR, AND HAVE BEEN ALL ALONG.
- FEMINISM IS NOT ABOUT BOLSTERING ONE GENDER ABOVE OTHERS. IT IS ABOUT FIGHTING FOR EQUALITY BY IMPROVING THE LIVES OF THE ONES THAT ARE SYSTEMATICALLY FUCKED OVER.

clothes[womyn/men & all sizes], shoes,vintage items, books, cassettes, and some furniture. There will be home made crafts for sale too! All donated from our Feminists Unite members.
Proceeds go to creating a Women’s Resource Center at RCC, Take Back the Night and our trip to the Latina Health Summit in Denver, Colorado.
